About The Authors

John Harris is the author of Hail! Hail! Rock’n'Roll. He was a writer at the NME until 1995, and went on to be the editor of Select magazine. He now works across a range of subjects for The Guardian, as well as writing for Mojo, and is a Contributing Editor at Q magazine, with his own monthly column. His acclaimed first book, the Britpop history The Last Party, was published in 2003. He is also a regular panellist on BBC2’s Newsnight Review. For more information, visit www.johnharris.me.uk
